Brent Green was born in St. Jerome, Quebec to English immigrants. Fifteen days old, he and his family moved to Texas. Since his father was involved with Pulp and Paper mill start-ups, he moved a lot growing up. He lived in Oregon, England, Ontario, Alberta, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Washington, North Carolina all before his 16th birthday. At sixteen, he graduated second in his class from Plymouth High School in Plymouth, North Carolina. He was awarded a Presidential Scholarship to attend Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Due to limited funding, he found a shared room in a $50 per month basement arrangement. He met a 28 year old man with a very limited view on life. This man eventually became very physically abusive with Brent which led to him failing out of the university. He eventually ended up back in North Carolina where he enlisted in the US Army at the ripe age of seventeen. After completing basic training in Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri, he served the remainder of his time in Hanau, Germany. During his time in Germany, he completed the first draft of what was then titled, "The Wizards Quest on Mog."After the army, he served as a missionary for two years in Quebec. Upon his return to the States, he attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho and graduated at the top of the Computer Science class with a 3.94 GPA. Brent married his first wife just after college. Brent then started his own business making games for the Atari Lynx. On the side, he did a little computer consulting. The Atari Lynx crashed and burned before he was able to finish the first game (Space Canyons). After having two children, his first wife left him for another man and Brent was forced to live out of his car for three months. Brent eventually joined Microsoft and worked there for five years.During this time, he met a girl while playing basketball. At first, Brent considered her only a friend as she was ten years younger. However, she had different plans and they had a whirlwind romance - they were engaged three days after starting to date. Jess and Brent were married six weeks later and eventually enjoyed a honeymoon at Disneyland. During their marriage, Brent finished the second and third drafts of his novel and changed the name to "Conquest of Vitucia" due to the publication of the Harry Potter series. Instead of wizards, Brent moved his setting to science and technology. Six kids later, Brent now lives in Maricopa, Arizona. Brent loves to read and write and hopes to be able to work full-time as an author in the very near future. While he waits for this to happen, he dabbles in writing various computer programs using C#, Silverlight, HTML and SQL Server.
