It was so depressing and I'm feeling nervous today. I just wanted to finish it, and I was interested in the history of how Mega City One came about, so I kept with it. Very uneven for me; some parts were fascinating and some were less engaging for me. The art wasn't my favorite, either.

Eh...I'm not sure what to say or think about this because I haven't read many Batman comics :/ I read a few when I was a kid, but most of my Batman exposure came from the films from the 80s/90s, the cartoons, and the first two Nolan films. I mean, I've read a lot online, but I realized while reading...

'1,001 Nights of Snowfall' can function as a standalone arc within the 'Fables' story, but I followed some advice that it should follow 'Mean Seasons'.The premise is that years ago, in the 19th century, Snow is sent as a emissary from Fabletown to a Sultan of the Arabian Fables. Challenge: Read a book that came out the year you were born Read a graphic novelI really liked how this comic explored The Joker’s past. Using flashbacks of what happened to him before his accident, the author drew parallelism with both Batman’s past and origins and Gordon’s present...

The story is lacking in substance. Some sharp dialogue from the Joker saves it from a 2.

Very well done. Great graphics and coloring. I really liked the spotlight effect used in the flashback scenes. Good story and nice dialogue throughout. I personally could have done with less mistreatment of Barbara as I felt uncomfortable with the sexualized violence, but the rest of the graphic nov...
