I really enjoyed this story. Brian Cleary's series provides an awesome way for students to engage in learning parts of speech while reading fun, entertaining stories. With this story, I would first define irregular plurals and give examples. Then we would read the story, and I would have students ...

How Much Can a Bare Bear Bear? is the perfect book to introduce homonyms and homophones to your class. Homonyms and homophones are easier to see than to explain, so this book is a great way to do that! This book will be a great read aloud for 3rd-5th grade. A cute and creative activity for students ...

This book is a introduction to homographs. The book is filled to the brim with homographs for the students to learn. I would use this in my classroom to introduce homographs before our homograph lesson. Lexile Level: AD880L

This is a book that I read to teach my third graders about pronouns. I think any age group could use this when learning about pronouns. It is a quick and easy read, that is really fun.

Nouns are presented through clever rhymes and colorfully illustrated cartoons, both following the escapades of funny cartoon cats. Abstract and ...

This series, which actually includes several more books, is incredible! What better way to have students learn different concepts of language than in a book, right? These books are so entertaining. If you are wanting to teach your students about nouns, verbs, and adjectives and are not sure where to...

I love these books. This book will be used in a lesson to introduce nouns. I also love the idea of using this book to assess my students and thier understanding of nouns. They can tally ask the teacher reads the book in whole group or small group for 2nd graders.

Does a great job of showing what an adjective is and how it is used in a sentence. The illustrations are colorful, silly and aid the text. The text highlights the adjectives in a variety of colors.
