I have a keen interest in many periods of military history, from the ancient Romans and Greeks to the modern conflicts of the Twentieth Century. I have written a two volume chronological history of the war on the Eastern Front during the Second World War, Barbarossa to Berlin, a chronology of the Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars entitled The Empire of the French and two volumes of a history of the Romans, The Rise of Romans and The Later Roman Republic.The Battle of Konigsberg marks a departure from my previously chronological style of writing to that of a narrative history. It is also my first self published.I am married and live in County Durham, United Kingdom with my wife and three children.
