“Ethan, this is just so hard—”He suddenly stepped so close that I tensed, even as my insides skittered in excitement. “I want to touch you, Nara, but I can’t,” he said in a low, tortured tone. “I want to kiss you, but I can’t. All I can do is watch you from a distance and it’s killing me.” Sigh ... ...

http://divainpyjamas.blogspot.com.au/2013/08/brightest-kind-of-darkness-by-p-t.htmlBrightest Kind Of Darkness was a unique concept and I loved it! Imagine, falling asleep each night and dreaming your entire day ahead. I loved the relationship between Nara and Ethan, and that she wasn't coerced into ...

Maybe it's unfair that I only give this two stars -- it wasn't a bad book, but I think I'm just much older than the target audience. I found that the characters (mostly their dialogue) wasn't very realistic, but maybe if I had read this five or ten years ago I would have really enjoyed it.

I picked up this book because it had an intriguing premise. It sounded great in the first chapter but after having read 57% of the way in I was still trying to figure out just WHERE it was going. 3.5 Stars That was an interesting book. It reminded me a lot of that movie, Final Destination. The first one though, when everything was fresh and surprising and totally original. That's how I felt after reading Brightest Kind of Darkness. It was a super interesting story line, with some pretty ...

Nara (legally Inara) has had a gift for most of her life. Well, she seems to consider it a gift, I'm not sure I would - it sounds terribly boring. Every night she dreams how her day will unfold in the coming hours, from beginning to end. Due to an event from when she was a child, she doesn't like...
