The Thoenes write amazing historical fiction novels, and this is no exception. You'd have to read the series in order to understand each one, but they're definitely worth it.
This is a great series so far, which is to be expected from the Thoenes. The only problem is that some of the weirdness of the names can be distracting. Other than that, though, it's wonderful!
This was an excellent book with one small problem: a profanity. Normally, I wouldn't get all up in arms about one "bad word," but that is uncharacteristic of the Thoenes, and I've read several of their other works.
