Brook Manville is an independent consultant who writes frequently on issues of strategy, management, organizational learning and development. In his earlier career he was a professor of history, and later worked in media, software, and consulting (McKinsey & Company). Today Brook consults to foundations, non-profits and "socially minded organizations," while maintaining an interest in the culture and history of western civilization. Brook also serves as an executive coach to a range of leaders in different sectors. Married, with three children, he is based in metropolitan Washington DC.
