Bryce O'Connor learned the importance of a well-crafted story at an early age. Raised on the tall tales of Brian Jacques' Redwall and J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series, he fell in love with reading when he realized that one's imagination is the only place where dragons might actually fly free. Graduating from Ithaca College with his Bachelors in Creative Writing and Doctorate of Physical Therapy, O'Connor currently resides in Rochester, NY. Child of the Daystar is his debut novel.

I was invited by Steven Kelliher to participate in a group read of Lost Lore: A Fantasy Anthology by, Terrible Ten. Having read Steven's work, I agreed. I'm glad I did. I really loved this one. It has a fantastic world-building, a very original protagonist and a gripping and at times heartrending story. Raz is not a human, not even a humanoid. Despite this he is fascinating and so much a PERSON. Not many authors can pull something like this off. The story too...
