His father Ernest passed away from a long illness when Buck was twelve years old. His Great Grandfather Bill Murray rode for a time with Kit Carson. He later married a Klamath Indian girl. They had a daughter named Clara. Clara married Louis Baker. Their daughter Chesta married Ernest in 1929. Buck or Louis if you prefer and his mother Chesta moved to Sacramento to be close to Clara Baker, Bucks grandmother.Chesta re married and soon the family moved to Santa Ana California. Buck graduated from Santa High school in 1951. He served both in the Navy and the Air Force. He married and had two children. Most of his career was in mortgage banking. He retired in 2007.
