*Book source ~ Library Twilight and gang are tracking Buffy and gang by their use of magic. So, they decide they need to lose their magic in order to hide from Twilight. I’m sorry, but that’s the stupidest idea I’ve ever heard. While I’m happy to see Oz in this one, I’m not happy that his way of...

I consider Buffy and Angel two of the best television series that ever aired, so it's disappointing that I haven't read an issue in the comics Season 8 equal to them in quality. It probably doesn't help that I'm less than thrilled with the artistry of Georges Jeanty. People have complained in revi...

I squealed when I saw Oz's face, but it was a bit of a let down. Any off screen character that is going to swoop in and steal a leading man needed a bit more build up than Bay.

This is a weird turn for a Buffy storyline to take. The Slayers are under intense fire, so I get that they're retreating. Dawn and Xander is so wrong. So, so, so wrong. Wrong. Wrong wrong wrong. Ew.I was actually sort of feeling the Buffy/Xander featured in the first few volumes, but Dawn? Super ick.It doesn't help that Dawn is the same exact whiny brat she's always been, and Xander is super hot in this incarnation. *c...

Good work, Whedon. I found it very hard to put this one down. Still not sure about the main artist, but the covers at the end were excellent.

Despite the return of several long-missing characters from the TV series (Oz, Riley), I thought this was the weakest story arc in "Buffy: Season Eight" yet. Buffy decides that all of the Slayers need to "give up" their magic so that Twilight will stop being able to hunt them down. So she finds Oz in...

OK. LOT GOING ON, and it all happens too quickly, which if you've been following along, has been the consistent case this season. I cannot wait until I can have the whole collection and see the whole big picture from high up and see what it all means. But anyways for this section, huge ups to Jane E...
