So glad I finally picked this up. It is a beautiful love story filled with loss and coping and learning how to push forward after your life bottoms out in unimaginable ways. We watch three characters learn to love and live again. I was stuck to each page like glue, and read it in one sitting.

This book wasn't a easy read and really put me through the emotional wringer, it's written in first person POV, alternating between Rebecca's and Michael's POV and normally in a romance I don't like first POV, but this book was about so much more than romance, it was also about grief, how to continu...

This is the book that made me try and fall in love with m/m romance (even though technically it isn't an m/m romance). Amazing and beautiful story that every fan of romance should read.

This was a beautiful story. Not what I expected at all. It is about loss and what comes after. The loss of a life mate, the loss of a parent, the loss of a part of ones' self and what comes after. Three people all suffering loss and how they work through it and find their way to each other.I'm not s...

Clearly, angst is not my cup of tea. This was ANGST. It was all grief and vacillating and I got impatient early on and stayed that way.

Lent by Kindle. The pain in this book is palpable. It is just heart wrenching. Yet there is hope all through out.

"Love is all about the risk, and very rarely about the guarantees." This is what Michael at some point said in this story and the quote stuck with me because it reflects so beautifully what this story is all about. The love in BUTTERFLY TATTOO transcends this story from an endearing romance to an em...

"I don't even know what to say about this book. It's tagged as a contemporary romance, but it has so much more depth than nearly any romance I've ever read. It's about love and loss and fear and the postmodern family... and I cried quite a bit during parts of it. Powerful, potent, and highly recomme...

Definitely a unique contemporary romance. Watching the three main characters battle their personal demons was both heartbreaking and heartwarming. Not a light read, but a good one.
