Okay, I'll admit I bought this one because I was sucked in by the sweet cover. I didn't even check who wrote it. That's so not like me. So what a wonderful surprise to discover By The Numbers is a simple sweet love story about a man, his dogs, a fireman and a kid. The kid was not annoying - whew!
