Things I didn't like about this book: 1. The male lead is career military. The female lead doesn't like military men because her father was one and she hated moving so much. So at 32 years old the male lead suddenly decides that he wants to end his military career to become a stationary family man...
I really enjoyed this story!Don't get me wrong because I'm a HUGE fan of C.C. Woods, I just haven't had the chance to read her paranormal-romance work... until now *hangs head in shame*. Now I'm hooked!I looooved Connor and Donna!Conner is sophisticated, smart, damper, beautiful.. and a Scottish Va...
First of all, I have to mention how amazing it is for the authors, and those who put this anthology together, to donate the proceeds to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. 5 Stars!Loved these short stories from most of my favorite authors! The stories were funny, sexy, and had just the right amount of paranormal romance which is perfect for Halloween.Highly recommend this book!
I LOVE this author's voice! The more I read of C.C. Wood's, the more of her work I want to read! Her characters are funny, strong, intelligent, and sassy! This was such a fun, short, amazing story.Amy and Troy were amazing together! This is a wonderful addition to the Girl Next Door series!
