There are many descriptives that apply to this lengthy tome - overwritten, unevenly paced, pretentious... And they all point to the real issue - somewhere there's a good story, but it's so buried in the muck that most readers would give up long before anything actually happens. Apparently the editor...

I really enjoyed this. So great. I loved both main characters, especially Khamsin. She came from such a horrid life and no matter what life threw at her she found a way to keep going. The next book is about different protagonists, I am sure they will be great, but I would so love to see another b...

I was so happy I received this book to read by the way of the author. I really loved the relationship between Carter and Brynne. When I first found out that the book was going to be about a human and elf falling in love, I was not sure if I was going to like the book at all. I am so glad I chose to...

I was quite surprised the direction that this story ended up going. It was clear that not all was right in White's world, living an extremely sheltered life, never even seeing the sky. But I wasn't expecting what it ended up being! I loved the idea of these Forgotten Ones and their unique story. ...

I am definitely in the minority with this book. I got so tired of all the hidden bad guys and the double dealing. I was tired of the battles. In fact, I was tired during the reading of this book because it didn't keep me interested. I thought the ending was way too fluffy. I was disappointed in the ...

Fairytale romance with some obstacles, some great epic fights and wars and a lot of hotness. I did not love Kham so much. She was a bit too temperamental for my taste. I very much liked Wynter. His backstory made him interesting and easy to connect with. So all in all very good reading.
