Michele was a finalist in St. Martin's Minotaur Books/Malice Domestic Competition in 2013 for No Virgin Island, in 2012 for Oh Danny Girl, and in 2004 for My Pink Slippers.

When I saw the cover and title of this new series, I just had to read it. Unfortunately though, it didn't quite live up to my expectations.
