The point of these quick takes post to catch up on my "To Write About" stack—emphasizing pithiness, not thoroughness. This is a little longer than most of these that I do, I just wanted to get caught up on my Library Book Audiobooks (I'm so thankful that I can get audio downloads from my library rig...
It's tough coming up with a sequel to a book as impressive and successful as "Leviathan Wakes". You have to walk the line between keeping continuity of plot and characters without simply repeating the first book with a slightly different problem set. The second book doesn't have the advantage of bei...
Excellent sequel to the first book of the series. All our favourite characters have returned... well most of them. :) I have been firmly confirmed in my favouritism towards Amos and Chrisjen Avasarala. That being said, I love most of the characters. And we get to meet the stellar Bobbie Draper, ...
Caliban´s War is the second book in the Expanse series and up until the last 150 pages or so, I wasn´t quite sure if I would continue reading this series. It´s a fun, action-packed story, but I really struggled with the structure of the novel. The story is told through the perspective of four di...
Series: The Expanse #2 An enjoyable reread by audio although it certainly took a while. I'm not sure what else to say and I hate writing reviews on my tablet. I suppose I should be grateful I'm not on my phone.

This book was every bit as good as the first in the series. They're long books that don't feel that long when you're reading them. It seemed like in no time flat I had knocked out 100-150 pages without quite realizing it. Holden and the crew of the Roci are back in action, this time finding themse...
An excellent followup novel in this series that was even better than the first one. The authors delve into the MC's through out the book while never letting up on the action prevalent all the way through. I can't wait to start the next one in this series.5 Stars!!!!
I have fallen deep down the well of fanish obsession with this series. Caliban’s War picks up a few month’s after the end of Leviathan Wakes and it’s just Space Opera, Military Sci-Fi awesomeness. However, if the next book also starts with a daughter in peril, I am going to have words with Daniel Ab...
