Born in Northern Ireland, Camac Johnson grew up enjoying nature and sports. Wanting to experience the great wildlife parks of Africa, he travelled by sea to South Africa. There he set up a food processing business and stayed for thirteen years. Later work opportunities took him to Saudi Arabia and the Canary Islands, before a return to the UK.Always a keen reader, a switch to writing seemed the natural thing to do. His short story, A Night at the River, was longlisted in the Chapter One International Competition 2011 and later included in the anthology, Tales of Tremendous Tragicide, 2013. Following that he self-published four novels and two short stories. NB. For one novel, Zambezi Seduction, he used the pen name Tamara Cape - so it's not included here under Camac Johnson's books. He enjoys the camaraderie of the writing world and exchanges news and advice with fellow scribes and readers in different countries.
