This book felt like it took forever for me to finish. I read the first 1/3 pretty quickly, and that the second 1/3 felt like pushing through cement, the last 1/3 flew by. I was incredibly frustrated by the characters, most particularly Robin, throughout most of this installment. Her behavior was s...
Soooo ... turns out I listened to book 3 almost straight on the heels of book 2 after all, because I've had some fairly major anger and sadness issues to go through lately, and nothing helps in that process like a really dark-hued book, right? As a matter of fact, it turns out that yours truly was...
Reading this for Terrifying women. And it is better than I thought. A leg was sent to Strike' office and was addressed to Robin, his assistant. Who would send a leg to him? And is the leg's owner still alive? 25% finished and it is not even close to getting to who he is. But the threat...
A severed leg is delivered to Robin at the office and Strike is sure he knows who did it. I love the Cormoran Strike novels. I love mystery books and I love the characters in this series. I really love the way this story wove together. I like that we learned more about our main characters and that...
Probably more of a 3.5/5 stars. I really did enjoy the majority of this book. I love Robin and I love Strike (as I usually love Rowling's characters). But ugh, the ending left me really disappointed. I really hope these character's aren't going where I think the are going. And after all the build up...
Robin and Strike investigate a serial killer whose past is linked to Strike. Due to the fact that there are only four real suspects that provide by Strike and that the killer get his own point of view section in which you see some of the murders happen – this mystery isn't particular interesting nor...
Not the best book when you're going though a big life change as it has taken me two months to read this while packing, making lists, and making decisions. However, Galbraith has written another intriguing Strike and Robin book that took my attention away from my problems. Five quick thoughts:1. Matt...
I just read this a few months ago, but when the audiobook came through at the library, I had the urge to revisit. It was fun to listen to the story this time around, and interesting to reread knowing who the mysterious murderer was the whole time.
Still love the series. Not thrilled with the ending but it'll be fun to see how it resolves. Eventually. The case was good and, just like the previous ones, a little hard to believe but very entertaining. I'll be not-so-patiently waiting for the next in the series.
