Born in North Carolina to southern story-tellers ... the kind that used to sit on the screened-in porch and tinkle the ice in their glasses and discuss EVERYTHING. Married young, traveled the world, raised three boys and one girl and now I've grandchildren that I adore. I've lived one marvelous love-story of my own and maybe I'll write about that one day. I started selling my stories and personality profiles to local papers and small magazines while following a career in public relations. Don't do that anymore but still write - with a new book on it's way, this one an adventure story set in the Chesapeake Bay when the British were closing in on Washington, DC - and I play and dream and go on adventures when I'm not writing or just enjoying my Virginia life.
