Carlo Strenger is Professor of Psychology and Philosophy at Tel Aviv University. He is senior research fellow at the Center for the Study of Terrorism at John Jay College, a member the Seminar of Existential Psychoanalysis in Zurich, and the on Scientific Board of the Sigmund Freud Foundation, Vienna in addition to maintaining a part-time practice in existential psychoanalysis.Strenger has published numerous books including The Designed Self, The Fear of Insignificance and Israel: Einführung in ein schwieriges Land, some of which were translated into ten languages.
