Caroline Reynolds was born in England and lived there until 2001, when she emigrated with her family to South Australia. The story of Bead Street was born from homesickness and is set in Cambridge, England. This is Caroline's first published story and was nominated for:-The Aurealis Award for Children's Literature 2009-The New South Wales Premier's Literary Awards 2010Caroline is currently working on the second Bead Street book in the series aswell as running her illustration company in Adelaide.
