2.5 starsI am not happy with this book. While I didn’t hate it, I definitely did not enjoy it that much. The story follows Spencer and Jamie. Both men are in the business of comics and to make a long story short this is quite a replica of “You Got Mail” with Spencer having the role of Meg Ryan, the s...
It was hard to decide between 2 & 3 stars for me. I hated the flashbacks, and I thought the story was FAR too slow until Nick took over narrating. Brandon really annoyed me too. I sort of get it cuz he and Nick were very young when all of this started, but why didn't they just call the cops after he...
I would love to love this book more -- for several reasons. One, the author's first novel, A Red-Tainted Silence, was one of the earlier full-length M/M novels I read and it was an emotional read. That one was written in 2006 so this book was sort of 5-years in waiting.ALAS, this book doesn't come u...
Absolutely addictive read. I agree with other reviewers that the crying was a little much, but the mystery and suspense of the story were more than interesting and compelling enough for me to overlook that flaw. Can't wait for the follow-up about Lee!
Wow, Wow, Wow...just WOW! I finished reading this last night but felt I needed to sleep on it before I could write my review. It's morning now and I am still no closer to being able to do this book justice. The format worked for me - switching from present to past and back again, revealing the story...
Opposites attract. Two boys meet each other 12 years before the start of the novel. One falls madly in love with a boy he sees on stage. Right then, he knows this is whom he will be with for the rest of his life. He knows he will write music for this boy, bringing out the best in the boy with th...
An awesome journey through love, loss and redemption. Great psychological thriller and love story. The book is long but it is well paced and doesn't feel bloated.
Very good, emotionally draining m/m romantic suspense about two successful musicians, who've loved each other since their teens, and the outside forces and people that have torn them apart and nearly destroyed them. Constantly switching between the present and the past, half the story is told from o...
I see most reviewers give this one 5 stars. I can't understand it. The plot line could have been great. Leave off all the extra "straight" men lusting and pawing at half a couple and nothing would have been lost. Give that half of the couple a heart and it would have been even better.
