I could not get into this book. It was more of a book written for school or research and that wasn’t what i wanted to read. I also found it dragged for me and just didn’t hold my attention. I was given an ARC of this story for an honest review.
Disclaimer: ARC via Netgalley. There is one thing wrong with this book. Let’s get it out of the way first. How can you write a book that deals with English Folklore, that mentions the influence on modern writers, and yet not mention, even in passing, Terry Pratchett...
The Poetic Edda was a great follow up to the Prose Edda. I plan to read over this one again, since it was so complex.
