Let's just say, oh dear...tis a shame. plus from the sound of other reviews this ain't for me, oh well
I was kind of iffy about this until almost the middle of the book, then things picked up and I couldn't put it down. I'm also happy to report no huge cliff hanger, still I can't wait to read the next book to learn more about the four elements journey.
Not interested in the book itself, and because of this comment thread, I won't read it. I don't want to get attacked if I don't like a book.These are old news books on this shelf, but I only recently decided to make a shelf like this for me, so I'd remember.
It's not a bad first book. This is a story based in Ireland that didn't make me cringe and it shows promise, but it needs work. While folks called it evocative of Ireland, I didn't find it evocative of Kinsale. Anywhere that has an address World's End deserves a mention, twisty windy streets that ...
i actually didn't even finish this one. it was definitely not my cup of tea and i keep wondering why i bought it in the first place.
