Steamy reads with a dollop of magic, mystery and hot... hot men
Blurb promised great things - sounded like a fresh and interesting take. The execution though? Hated the heroine, she irked me and was TSTL, making bad choices and failing to follow through.Disliked the approach, story, lead. Pretty much everything in fact.

Trouble just seems to find Edie Spence, and once it does she's not so good at backing away. Now she has to stay alive, and in one piece, in ...

While Alexander's Edie Spence series is still going strong it will be going on without me. I have become one of those people who can now walk away from an ongoing series if it jumps the shark or loses steam or my interest shifts. I've liked and still do like Edie but Deadshifted didn't work for me...

This is not a series where you can start any where, the books are not meant to be stand alone reads, so you will need to pick up the first two books in this series Nightshifted and Moonshifted before you read this book. Nurse Edie Spence is back in Cassie Alexander's shifted series and Edie is loo...

The book started out strangely, Edie was very whiny and would freak out with these unbelievable comments. I was feeling very sorry for Asher. Then about a third of the way in the book started getting better. I'm not sure how I feel about the ending. 2-1/2 stars

This is one of the few series, my dear readers, where each consecutive book is much stronger than the previous one. Kate Daniels by Ilona Andrews is another series that comes to mind.Cassie Alexander likes shaking things up. Her heroine not only goes from bad to worse, she also changes locations and...
