I really like this series. In this book I enjoyed having a little more from John Sampson than I remember from the others. This plot was not as good as the ones before in my opinion. It's still a good story overall, and I will still continue with the series for sure.

Gary Soneji is back with a vengeance and will stop at nothing to get back at Alex Cross for “ruining his life.” Can he be stopped this time? Gary Soneji is sick. But he is brilliant. More brilliant than Alex Cross. Oh, Mr. Smith will never win and get Soneji's place.

This book was just downright creepy. This was when I was having my absolute lovefest with JP before his work became mundane and boorish.

I've read worse books than this...but I don't know if I've ever been mas disappointed with a book than this one (it's a toss-up between this and Thomas Harris' "Hannibal")...Gary Soneji was such a brilliant villain in "Along Came a Spider", and he was complete wasted in this book!
