I really like this series. In this book I enjoyed having a little more from John Sampson than I remember from the others. This plot was not as good as the ones before in my opinion. It's still a good story overall, and I will still continue with the series for sure.
Originally seen on my book blog!Alex Cross’s (and mine) worst nightmare is back. Gary Soneji is back with a vengeance and will stop at nothing to get back at Alex Cross for “ruining his life.” Can he be stopped this time? While Alex is trying to stop Gary a second time, there is another killer on th...
I have not read many of Patterson's Alex Cross novels, but those that I have read so far have generally been exciting and suspenseful. Cat & Mouse was no exception. As always, I can live without the sex that Patterson inevitably includes but without a doubt he knows how to write a thriller that will...
#4 in the ever so cool Alex Cross series and it doesnt dissapoint. Picks right up a few months after the 'Jack And Jill' case and guess whose back? The evil serial killer Gary Soneji!!! He is back with a vengeance threatening to put an end to what he started way back in the first Patterson book devo...
Gary Soneji is sick. But he is brilliant. More brilliant than Alex Cross. Oh, Mr. Smith will never win and get Soneji's place.
This book was just downright creepy. This was when I was having my absolute lovefest with JP before his work became mundane and boorish.
I've read worse books than this...but I don't know if I've ever been mas disappointed with a book than this one (it's a toss-up between this and Thomas Harris' "Hannibal")...Gary Soneji was such a brilliant villain in "Along Came a Spider", and he was complete wasted in this book!
