This was the first book in a new series and while I enjoyed it b/c it hit on a lot of my personal buttons, it did feel a little light and a bit rushed.
I really liked the Kody character and warmed to Stellan but Benji annoyed me when he kept running off than trying to explain to his guys his worries and issues.
The big misunderstanding hinged on the fact that Benji apparently had no scent to Stellan (and other lion shifters?)...Neumus, to Stellan, when discussing Benji: He smells like alpha mate to me.
