Catherine Batac Walder's writing appears in Fine Books and Collections, M-Brane SF, Expanded Horizons, The Big Jewel, Philippines Free Press and more. Born and raised in the Philippines, she moved across Norway, Finland and Portugal for a two-year European MPhil. scholarship. She worked as a research group administrator at the Department of Earth Sciences, Royal Holloway University of London, until her first child was born. She lives in a Victorian cottage in South East England and is now a full-time wife, mother and boat sweeper.
