Hello,I grew up in Philadelphia, PA. I love the city of Philadelphia, the beach towns of New Jersey, and the lovely city of New Orleans. I frequent these places as often as I can to boost my inspiration and creativity. I started writing Madame Lola during my thesis period for my MFA program―in the Spring of 2013―and the steampunk novel took me only a year to finish (most of my writing takes a bit longer, but Madame wanted to be out into the world). I'm happiest with my family and my dachshund, Vienna Sausage (listening to a lonely horn player in Jackson Square never made me grumpy either).
