"I love animals," writes Celia Haddon. "And in particularly I love cats. They make me laugh. Most people, even those who love their cats as much as I do, don't understand them very well. So I hope my book, Cats Behaving Badly, has helped cats and their people.Writing about animals started as an office joke when I complained I had no official position on the Sunday Times magazine. They made me pets editor, a role I continued in first with the Evening Standard and then with the Daily Telegraph. I must have answered about 100,000 letters about pets during my time with the Telegraph. It was clear that pets really mattered to their humans. Yet in the world generally, politics, business and money were the areas of most interest. Pets.... well, they were just a side show.I have lately done a degree in applied animal behaviour. I have a website with information about all sorts of animal issues - www.celiahaddon.com And I have a cat blog at http://george-online.blogspot.comMy hobbies are prehistory, photographing wild hares, and walking. I believe in a Higher Power, whose influence in my life has been incalculable."
