A very quick, easy read. I read this book in one sitting. A bit predictable, but good nonetheless!

This is the second book I have read by this author in the past week, and both have been fantastic. Abby and Tom's daughter Caitlin goes missing while walking their dog Frosty. Four years later she reappears and we get to see how a family deals with their child's disappearance and subsequent reappear...

As someone who loves reading about kidnappings and disappearance I was obviously drawn to this book because of what it offered. BUT WHAT THE FUCKI feel like this book was written so poorly. The protagonist is just horrible. I tried to have sympathy for his because his daughter was gone and he seemed...

What the fuck did I just read?Oh, I'm sorry for being rude. But.. What the fuck did I just read?Imagine you have a daughter. Then she's abducted, then she comes back. Do you want to give her back to her captor?Yeah, spoiler. Consider yourself warned.

Overall, I enjoyed this read and found the writing very good. I would read more by this author and, in fact, am starting his next release today. On that note, I would have enjoyed a bit more character development vs. some of the scenes that seemed to have been added for dramatic effect.

This book turned out to be a great read! I picked it up at the super market a while back thinking it's going to be another disappointment but, "hey!" it turned out to be quite a page turner! This book makes you ask,"how well do we know our children?" as a parent myself its not a comfortable question...

I bought this book for the cover and the title. I wasn't disappointed. Reminded me of Mystic River, The Lovely Bones, and The Deep End of the Ocean.

I should clarify first and say that I am not the target audience for this book. These types of novels, thrillers/real life sadness whatever, bore me unless they are very well written. Add that fact to the very major problems I had with the themes and plot of this novel and I think I'm being genero...

Thoughts: Unlike more recent abduction stories, Cemetery Girl explores what happens with those left behind. Tom and Abby must deal with their loss, grief and indecision to move on after four years. Just when things appear to be getting better, they must then deal with the very real phenomenon of Sto...
