Chad Huskins (1979 - ) was born in Cartersville, Ga. His father was a farmer turned firefighter, and his mother alternated between working mother and stay-at-home. He has studied martial arts for 15 years and taught self-defense for 5 years. His first novel, "Khan in Rasputin's Shadow," won the Evvy Award for fiction.He is certified to teach five different styles of martial arts, and has been writing since he was 15 years old.
