The story developed quickly. It was a short story so it's to be expected. There wasn't any time to get attached to the MC's. I did like seeing interaction between Derek and Channing and learning about the shifters in this story. The story felt unfinished though.

This is my first foray of Eden Cole's work. i hope this is not her standard or I might just skip her in the future. The story was okay. The ideas and intentions were good. But some how it came out disjointed. The sex scenes were cliche. The dialogue average at best. I would have given it three stars...
