Three former junkies are slaughtered in their flop. All were firmly on the road to recovery, employed, doing therapy sessions in the local clinic and center...So who would want to kill them with the glee the killer must have felt, judging by the state of the crime scene and the testimony of a witnes...
This is the first time that I did not like the mystery involved in an In Death series. While some of them have been just ok, this one was ridiculous. The whole
Dr Jekyll/Mr Hyde
thing did not work at all, IMO. I know this is set in the future, but it was too incredulous. I gues...
This was my first experience with an audible book of fiction. Susan Erickson was the narrator and I found her voice very annoying. Strained, almost harsh. And her Irish accent for Roarke was much too heavy. It is described by Robb as the merest hint of Ireland, but Erickson did a moderately stro...
Just J.D.Robb who can make a novella as good as her full length novel. Like usual the novella always have paranormal element on it. Based on Dr Jekyll and Hyde, Eve must investigate a murderer by killer that called himself Dr. Chaos. The process to guess who the real culprit is thrilling! There's no...
That was a really weird SS. I loved it though, but at the end in the interview room that was creepy. Very fast paced and almost over before it even began. I'm looking forward to reading the next in the series.
In my opinion, the weakest of the novellas.

Three people are dead, viciously assaulted by someone who, well, looks like a monster. It was great to see Lt. Dallas back in form as she tackles the latest case. She and Peabod...
This story seemed very fast. Sure it's a novella, so that was part of it. I've never listened to an audiobook from this series, so I'll bet that had something to do with it too. I started listening to it yesterday, but only listened to about 6-7 min before stopping it. Listened to the rest of it in ...
This was a neat little whodunnit and how-dunnit.Three recovering addicts who are really turning their lives around are found brutally murdered in their apartment. Eve catches the case. The weird thing is the eye-witness describes the killer as a green skinned, red-eyed monster who capered and danc...
