Well I always enjoy living in the Sookieverse for awhile, but now I'm depressed. I actually enjoyed this more than the last 2 in the series, but there are some dark moments for Sookie in this book, and she seems to be at a very major crossroads in her life, with both of us unsure of what's coming n...

After reading the last book and hating it , I'd washed my hand of the series .but I ended up picking yet another one for a challenge. and I'm not dissapointed ,this could be because I started reading expecting nothing good.It wasn't as good as the earlier books but it was enternaning and makes me wa...
Muddled, Mystified & Marvelous Musings

I agree with alot of the other reviewers here that the series has been falling off a bit, which is apparently due to the success of the Tv show. I still gave it four stars partially on the merit of the series as a whole. One thing to keep in mind with these books is that they're fun, easy to read st...

Definitely very entertaining. Some of the most interesting plot points are getting solved and very crucial moments are rising, giving way to the story's prompt conclusion in Book 13.

3.5/5This was one of The Southern Vampires books that felt bittersweet to me. It's all about crossroads, hard choices and letting go of your illusions. It wasn't long enough to my liking and I thought it ended rather abruptly.I do so much prefer book Sookie to TV series Sookie, in fact I can't stand...

I have to agree with others who indicate that nothing much happens. It all feels as if the scene is being set for the future. And I'm not certain I want the scene I suspect. A few books back, yeah, maybe; not now.

From what I remember of the last book in the series, this book is much better than that one... I believe there is actually some sort of plot. As always, I swooned over Eric... I wasn't happy, though, at how ending was left hanging in that way. Things continue to thicken around Sookie and the mystery...

This one took me a long time to get through and honestly it was just ok. I admit to liking Sookie more in this book but it was irritating that she was so down on herself for wanting to survive. The biggest issue for me is not much happened plot wise, there was no real action or excitement stuff just...
