OK. The story is picking up. Real vague maybe slightly spoiler-ish Star Wars thoughts under the cut. It's interesting reading this now that all the movies are out. The movies are not cohesive at all, and I wonder where the story ideas for the comics and books came from. Was each individual author ...
I read the first issue of Poe Dameron a while back and it didn't really interest me. Having seen Ep XI now, I was more interested in his previously established back story. Since this run is now complete, I thought I'd give it another try since I really want to like Poe but the movies made it so diff...
What? This isn't an 'Animorphs' review! A new technology, developed now, will transform society. With 'the Flash' people can transport their consciousness into another living person for an hour, a day, a week, so long as they can pay for it. Everything has been effected: employment, travel, prosti...
The second volume in the Superman/Wonder Woman title is two stars. As a person who does not read Superman, I was horribly lost for part of this. There were some nice touches, but half the story is missing. The ending shorter stories were okay. The best being the one with the plant that Clark gave D...
OMG! Margaret is back to best Margaret. And breaking my heart.Be warned some questions are answered, and more questions are raised because you know, they went you to keep buying the series. It isn't as funny as the earlier volumes, but far more emotionally honest and touching.
Another miss for me in Marvel-land. I used to lap everything up, and now not so much. This is another huge event, and events are burning me out. Not to mention, I lost my appetite for everything Wolverine when they killed him off, and I'm not into his supposedly huge return. I did like some...
I would if it were free, but I don't think I'll pay for more. Another comic I got for free. Not horrible by any means, but just not compelling enough for me to continue. I didn't find it added anything to the general Star Wars mythos, or was fun enough, for me to pay to continue, that's all.
But I'm also in anguish; this was perfect, but also twist the knife in further. I'm not sure what's going to happen in the February reboot, or if Matt Murdock will be in it, but I'm sure going to find out knowing that Chip Zdarsky will be writing. I wasn't sure what I'd do give that I loved Sou...
I continue to love this series like you wouldn't believe. Beautiful art, heartbreaking storyline that keeps me coming back for more. No emotional energy to write more.
Soule and Noto nail it, while tightening the noose around Murdock. Brilliant stuff, heartbreaking story arc as Elektra makes an appearance. Noto's Elektra is stunning.
