I laughed quite a bit. Some of the conversations were exceedingly entertaining. The basis of the book is that the H's dad and a friend have conspired to get him settled into a job instead of flitting from one town to the next. They did this by asking him to investigate a possible drug dealer at th...

this book was a lot of fun. I don't really have anything else to say. It wasn't all LOL funny, but lot of it was.

Though I'm normally a paranormal romance reader Crusie came highly recommended for her characters' witty banter. There was some in Getting Rid of Bradley, but none here. Not only was the conversation dull, but sometimes it made no sense. Charlie says he's going to miss someone's jokes when I can't ...

I just started reading this author's books. Received a bundle of 4 books in one. This was the last of the 4, and very much the best. I loved this book. It was adorable, witty, and I liked the male characters very much.

This was a re-read for me (to get me out of my mini-slump) and I still love it.

I had trouble paying attention and was easily distracted but I did finish. The plot didn't excite me and romance was not all that believable. Allie is demoted and dumped by boyfriend so she plans her comeback with Charlie but he doesn't want to be famous.
