Well written overview of time surrounding Lincoln's assassination for the young adult reader. Explanations of terms and ideas are given, information is repeated in an intelligent way, all to help the reader follow and understand timeline and motivations of the participants.
I thought this book was good for the genre (juvenile/ya). However, listening to it as an adult, I found it to be very simplistic. I also wonder how much information was added for "dramatic" flare. However, it was an easy listen that I whipped out while working on other things and didn't require alot...
