The Ashmen were just too much this go 'round. It was a good series overall. I might just be too old to appreciate its full YA-ness. Sigh. I'll just head on over to my rocker and talk about "kids these days". heh.
I enjoyed the beginning and the end. I'm not so sure I loved all the back story in this book, which was pretty much 70% of the book. I would have preferred more back story scattered throughout book 1&2 and more action in the final book.

**SPOILERS FROM PREVIOUS BOOKS AND AVOW**MY THOUGHTS: Avow was just amazeballs!!! Chelsea Fine did a magnificent job writing the Archers of Avalon series and did a great job writing an end to the series. So sad I won't be seeing more of the characters :'( But her writing is the epitome of EPIC...
