With a degree in Elementary Education, Cheryl taught kindergarten through fifth grade for over ten years, during which time she was recognized as "Teacher of the Year." As an educator and mother, Cheryl has long recognized the importance of getting children interested in reading at a very young age and has always had a great appreciation for good children's stories that engage a child's mind as well as their imagination.Over twenty years ago, Cheryl began the process of developing characters for a series of children's book with her husband's uncle who had a love for writing and a wonderful, creative imagination.
