This gorgeously illustrated little gem was an instant hit with my boys, who are 4 and 2. It's about four creatures who go out into the woods trying to catch a bird with hand nets, and their adventures and misadventures as their attempts go awry. The text is simple and repetitive enough that after on...

I saw this book in the library, and just had to have it. The book is about 4 guys (or girls) who are trying to catch a bird and do so at various ways. I really adored the illustrations, they were really pretty and I was just cheering for the friends to get that bird. My favourite character would be ...

The pencil and computer animated pictures provide a surprisingly emotive characters, especially the worried baby owl. There's some laughs and the chance to make sound effects. Great book to lead children into participation. Many of the pages end with, "What will George do?" Cute.

George is such a dog, he tries to be good, he really does, but when left alone for the day, he can't resist his instincts for cake, digging and chasing cat. The droll illustrations are perfect, capturing the heart and canine mind of George. You gotta love him. Chris, keep them coming.
