What are the odds on finding affordable housing at the corner of Deckawoo Drive and Sesame Street? I really want to move to a place without racism or any of the other nasty hates that have been so apparent lately. A place where strangers are helpful, and the neighbors share in your good fortune. DeC...

http://pin.it/c61MXET How did I not notice before that Can Dusen paints everyone with the same skin color, same highlights and shadows? Everyone, including Mercy Watson, the pig. Different hair, facial features, head shapes, clothes, but the exact same skin (old people are all highlights and shado...

The story included far too many characters (everyone Mercy has ever met up to this point, I believe), and the story wasn't as funny as some of the other books in the series. The best part a...

A fun follow up to If I Built a Car. Budding inventor eight-year-old Jack turns his fanciful imagination to architecture.

3.5 starsThe illustrations are nice although a little too cartoony for my taste. The story is sweet if a bit daft and the rhyming is done well, not forced. The best part were the pages near the end of the book where you have to look to find where the animals were hidden. A couple were too obvious bu...
