I've authored and edited several books, mostly in the areas of faith and culture, young adult spirituality and emerging church. My latest book, with Jericho/Hachette, is "POSTCHRISTIAN: What's left? Can we fix it? Do we care?" came out in August, 2014. My first novel, "BLOOD DOCTRINE," came out in May, 2014, and my humorous memoir about the dad's perspective of pregnancy and childbirth is called "PREGMANCY." I created and edited the BANNED QUESTIONS book series, which includes, BANNED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE BIBLE, BANNED QUESTIONS ABOUT JESUS and BANNED QUESTIONS ABOUT CHRISTIANS.I WAS series co-editor for a series of books with Chalice Press known as the WTF? (Where's the Faith) Series, which are aimed at the interests and faith of young adults. The first book, OH GOD, OH GOD, OH GOD!, looks at faith an sexuality, and SPLIT TICKET is the second book in the series (co-edited by me, Brandon Gilvin and Amy Gopp), which talks about the intersections of faith and politics. There are several others in the WTF series.I co-authored a book on young adult spirituality with my wife, Amy Piatt, called MYSPACE TO SACRED SPACE, and my first book, LOST: A SEARCH FOR MEANING is about the theological symbols and underlying themes in the hit TV show, LOST.I speak nationally about diversity and justice issues in the church and our communities, young adult faith, emerging church and faith & technology. for more about me, my books, blog, podcast and videos, check out www.christianpiatt.com.
