I have always enjoyed the written word...more so when it involves romance and intimacy. I love being an author because it allows me to create characters and stories that add enjoyment to a reader's day. There's nothing like watching a new love grow, or trying to figure out how the hero and heroine will ever get together for happily ever after if life keeps throwing them obstacles. My stories range from steamy to erotic, but always at the center is a love waiting to blossom with the right touch. And yes, many scenes will have me fanning myself as I write them!My heroes are alpha males with heart. They're looking for that one woman who will not only stand up to them but also stand besides them. My heroines have just enough backbone to take care of themselves and a good dose of witty sarcasm to keep any alpha male alert. I adore a man in uniform...any uniform...so I write what I like. And if he happens to take off that uniform...well...stayed tuned.When I'm not hammering away on my laptop writing my current book, I can be found lounging lazily on my couch watching crime shows like Criminal Minds and CSI. I usually have company there with me...my two yellow labs who weigh 110 lbs. and 80 lbs. and both truly believe they are meant to be lap dogs. It's pretty hard to see over their big heads so I've learned to sit up and let them snuggle with me. I had to choose my battles!I do enjoy cooking but with time constraints I can't seem to do it as much as I'd like. Family is very important and mine is my rock. So I find a way to do it all and live my dream of being an author - bringing my characters to life and being able to share them with my fans is truly a blessing for which I'm so grateful.
