Jamie Tolland has only ever known his small Oregon town. Same job, same friends, same gay bar. He feels obligated to stay, especially as his mother’s illness progresses. But when a situation presents itself in the form of a vintage sports car, he jumps on the chance to not only repair it, but also d...

Ezra Greene has made a pretty decent life for himself. He has a nice apartment and spends his days doing the one thing he’s always loved—creating art. Despite being somewhat of a grumpy recluse, he’s even made a few loyal friends. When he takes a side job painting a mural at a local holistic center,...

2.5 stars for the dogsThis book has some OTT elements, though the setup for them is clear from the beginning. Unfortunately, the story mostly bored me. I had to force my way through to 70%. Then I just didn't want to DNF after getting that far, but I did some serious skimming. The book is told from ...

Before You Break surprised me in many ways. I read Lee’s Promise Me This which is another book in her Between Breaths series. I enjoyed that one. I knew I’d like Lee’s writing from that novel alone, and it came through in Before You Break, as well. What I wasn’t expecting is for Lee to have another ...

It was enjoyable and engaging. Yes, it had some drama, but not overly so. I liked Avery and I really really liked Quinn. I don't know what it is about quiet guys, but this really was a delicious one.

This is not quite like the usual anthologies you read... This is a continuation of a story of four friends, coming of age, living with pain, hurt, loss... Learning to trust.... Falling in love...Each author has taken on a different character and told their story while still interconnecting the fou...

And the hero was a bit too perfect. But an enjoyable read, even for someone like me, who doesn't exactly dig NA ;-)

I received a print copy in exchange for an honest review from NAL. Before you break is an interesting YA read with some NA and adult interaction and topics interwound in the story. Ella and Quinn discover eachother through a hotline that she volunteers for after they both experience a loss of a love...
