Christine Lynxwiler lives with her husband and two daughters in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. A four-time winner of the prestigious American Christian Romance Writers'/American Christian Fiction Writers' Book of the Year Award, Christine has written seventeen novels and novellas for Barbour Publishing, including Arkansas, Forever Christmas, Promise Me Always, Along Came a Cowboy, and three cozy mysteries - Death on a Deadline, Drop Dead Diva, and Down Home & Deadly - she co-authored with two of her sisters. Christine's newest release, book two in her McCord Sisters series, Cowgirl at Heart, received a 4 ½ star review from Romantic Times and was an RT Top Pick for February, 2010. The Romantic Times reviewer had this to say about the new book--"This completely compelling and suspenseful novel will leave you wanting more. Lynxwiler puts you in the middle of the action, where you're thoroughly engaged and where the scenes come to life. The dialogue and plot run at a smooth pace as she cuts between the various stories of the McCord household. Fans will not be disappointed and new readers will want to read everything she's ever written." This is a double honor, since the first book in the series, The Reluctant Cowgirl received similar accolades from Romantic Times magazine and was a Top Pick when it released in April, 2009.

Chose this book b/c the setting is in the Ozarks. I love the Ozarks in the fall- the colors are stunning. Looking forward to the read.
