More a 2.5 star read for me. The main character was a very nice, good-hearted person, but a lousy sleuth. There were too many things that were just not believable to me, especially the visit she paid to one of the people she suspected. Loved the cowboy cop, but on the whole this just didn't do it...
A majority of this book was interesting and then all of a sudden the last ten pages were rushed and hokey. Review to be posted.
An ok first book that has quite a few things going for it, and a few things that, well, need work. Excellent setting: small town, up-state New York on the lake.
