Christophe Dony's research interests include multicultural issues and postcolonial criticism in contemporary comics and graphic novels, trauma studies, detective fiction, and popular culture. He has published in such journals as 'The International Journal of Comic Art', 'Postcolonial Text', and 'La Revue Nouvelle'. He recently co-authored an essay on the implications of trauma in 9/11-related comics for the edited collection 'The Rise and Reason of Comics and Graphic Literature' (McFarland, 2010) and contributed to the collection 'L'Association: Une Utopie Editoriale et Esthétique' (Impressions Nouvelles, 2011).
