Christopher Baxter was educated at King's College London and the London School of Economics and Political Science. Upon finishing his MA in International History at the LSE, Chris was appointed MacArthur Research Fellow at King's College London, completing his PhD in 2000. From 1998, Chris worked for Professor Sir Lawrence Freedman on the Official History of the Falklands Campaign and in 2001 he moved on to join the Foreign & Commonwealth Office as one of their resident historians. Chris is currently an Honorary Lecturer in Intelligence History at Queen's University Belfast, having previously been a Research Fellow there during 2006-2010.
